Which layout should you use?

LayoutWhat you getGood for
Side by SideImages in one row, all matched to the tallest image’s heightBefore and after photos, comparing two products
StackedImages in one column, all matched to the widest image’s widthJoining screenshots into one long image
GridImages in rows and columns, each fitted inside an equal cellCollages and photo sets

Different sized images are handled for you. Side by Side and Stacked scale the pictures to match, so a small photo can be enlarged and look softer. Grid keeps every picture whole and fills any leftover space with the background color you choose.

If the result comes out too big or too small, bring it down to the right size with the resize tool. If you only want part of each photo, use the crop tool on them before combining.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Combine Images tool?

It lets you merge two or more images into one single image directly in your browser.

How many images can I combine?

You need at least 2 images. You can add more by uploading additional files.

Which image formats are supported?

The tool supports JPG, PNG, and WebP images.

What layouts are available?

Side by Side (horizontal), Stacked (vertical), and Grid (automatically arranged into rows and columns).

Can I change the order of my images?

Yes, use the arrows on each thumbnail to move it earlier or later, or click the x to remove it before combining.

Can I change the spacing or background color?

Yes, the spacing slider goes from 0 to 40 pixels, and you can pick any background color for the space between and around your images.

Do I need to upload my images to a server?

No. Your images are combined entirely in your browser, so they are never uploaded anywhere.

How do I download the combined image?

After choosing your layout and settings, click Combine Images, then click Download Combined Image to save the result.

How do I put two photos side by side?

Upload both photos, leave the layout on Side by Side, click Combine Images and download the result. Use the arrows on each thumbnail if you need to swap which photo goes on the left.

How do I make a before and after image?

Upload the before photo first and the after photo second, then combine them side by side. If the two photos are different shapes, crop them to the same shape first so they line up neatly.

What happens if my images are different sizes?

Side by Side matches every image to the tallest height, and Stacked matches them to the widest width, so smaller images get scaled up. Grid fits each image inside an equal cell without stretching it and fills the leftover space with your background color.

How do I join screenshots into one long image?

Choose Stacked, upload the screenshots in order from top to bottom, and set the spacing to 0 if you want them to join without gaps. Then click Combine Images and download the file.
